Same sloth, same oracle, same cult reveal. Only the opening differs. Start with v6. It is the only one where the sloth does something back. Do this one on a phone, with your thumb — it does not work with a mouse.
Version 6 · NEWThe Sloth WakesYou have to press and hold it. The rays wind up under your thumb the whole time you hold — let go early and it winds back down and goes to sleep. Hold it long enough and the sloth opens its eyes and looks at you. Everything else goes still and desaturated while it does. Then it detonates.
Then it tells you the actual day and time before it gives you your Spark. Version 4 · NEWSupernovaDark. One point of light. The sloth draws itself in — and then it goes off: a white shockwave ring, thirteen huge tapered rays firing outward in sequence, light beams past the edge of the screen. It stays burning in deep space.
Stays dark. Maximum brightness, because the black makes the colour scream. Version 5 · NEWThe FlareIdentical detonation — but it explodes into daylight. The blast floods the screen white and leaves the bold rays printed over paper like overlapping marker ink.
Brighter and more joyful; less cosmic. Busier behind the type. Version 3 · your pickThe Wake-UpThe original: opens in the dark, light spreads from the sloth's third eye until the whole sun is there, then colour floods in. Restrained — the rays are the artwork's own thin ones.
The baseline you liked. Compare the new two against this. Version 1The Quiet SunAlmost nothing on the page. Rays turning slowly in opposite directions, breathing.
Version 2The Doodle StormYour sketchbook awake — spirals, bolts and half-caught handwriting drifting in the margins.
What isn't built yet: the Sun Sparks are 8 hand-picked placeholders, not the curated set — you'll choose those from the admin grid in pass 2. The two CTAs at the end pop an alert instead of going to /field and /spread. The counter reads 382.
